The Driffield Partnership aims to bring together people from the private, public and community sectors to ensure the future prosperity of Driffield and the surrounding area.
The Driffield Partnership will build strong links within the community, develop a long term plan for the Driffield area and help the delivery of the plan. The plan will help to ensure that Driffield is a great place to live, work, visit and invest in.
Street Survey Report Released
The report and recommendations from the Driffield community street survey carried out earlier this year by local people, members of the Driffield Partnership, and officers from East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Many of the recomendations are already being put into action. The Driffield Partnership would like to thank all those involved.
Driffield Town Youth Council is launched
A group of young people met on the 11 June 2008 to launch the Driffield Town Youth Council (DTYC). The council will be partners in the Driffield Partnership and have their say and help to make Driffield a great place for their future. Taking part in a buzz quiz the young people explored the issues effecting the town and how they can really make a difference. The group will meet monthly during term time - Next meeting 2 July 2008 at Driffield Town Council offices. The group is being supported by the youth services and is a part of Driffield Town Council.
